Well, this area is very famous for its’ porcelain and there are shops and factories all over the place. However something I didn’t expect to see when making a quick visit to our preferred outlet was a display of electrical components made from porcelain. Dating back to the 1790s and made locally, they make quite an impressive display – especially with the upside down coffee pots overhead. They were used by an electrical company in Limoges which is still one the city’s large employers.
