It’s definitely got colder here having had up to now a pretty mild Autumn. So it wasn’t really a surprise that when we got up this morning at 6.30a.m. for the collège bus we were greeted by a layer of snow and the most brilliant apricot glow in the sky which made everything look like there was a fire somewhere. The snow lasted until mid-day but the cold is still with us.
