It’s been really busy round here recently. Since returning from a week skiing in Chatel last week things are heating up. Some quotes still out and others returned with the go ahead.
One project has the potential to be rather larger than usual. It is to design and build a lodge to be part of a lovely development not far from us in the Dordogne. On the basis that the first show home is a success there will be thirty-seven others to build over the next couple of years.
The lodge structure is built in panel sections and then erected here before it is demounted and transported over to the site where it will be finally put into position among the trees. The photos show the early stages of construction and we’ll update them as the project advances.

There’s a garage for a client in the village and a bespoke kitchen for a beer brewing, guitar playing, lorry driving local going on as well.
